In order to be labeled extra virgin, the olive oil must have less than 1% Oleic acid content, and meet standards of flavor, color, clarity and aroma. Dell'Alpe Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a completely natural product, the result of cold pressing specially selected olives. It undergoes absolutely no chemical treatment. Special Reserve

This extra virgin olive oil has been chosen for its superior quality. It is a mixture of extra virgin oils from Italian regions of Tuscany and Puglia. This oil is the product of selected olives picked directly from the tree and cold pressed in a stone olive press according to traditional methods.

It is also filtered in the old natural tradition and thus some olive sediment may settle. This is normal, and in no way detracts from this superior Italian extra virgin olive oil.
